Wer sich mit Entsagung nach dem Modell "Schmerzvermeidung durch Lustverzicht" Gewalt antut, ist genauso auf dem falschen Weg wie ein Mensch, der sein Heil in totaler Vergeistigung sucht. Auch jede Anstrengung, innerlich ein freierer, gelösterer Mensch zu werden, verstößt gegen den Geist von Wu shih. Zumal die Schwierigkeit hinzukommt, dass Korrekturversuche exakt an dem Bild vorgenommen werden, das ohnehin nur bedingt mit dem wahren Menschen übereinstimmt. Es wird nur ein Bild retuschiert.
